How to Register for the Tournament

Gridiron will use the Sketchplay platform to register your teams and manage your rosters. Sketchplay can be accessed by going to their Web Application or their Mobile App. To register your team, we suggest using the web app on a desktop as the experience will be best when uploading rosters.

To simplify, we're adding a few directions here:

1. Watch the tutorial video's below!
2. Go to Sketchplay WebApp: https://web.sketchplay.io.
3. Register for an account with your email, phone, and password.
4. Complete the registration process by following the on-screen instructions.
5. Once registered, you will receive a welcome email. We highly suggest you follow the 5 "next steps" in this email.
6. After successfully logging in to your account, click "Add Community" on the left navigation. You will be asked for a code.
   Note: To enter the proper code, you'll need to contact the Gridiron Team lancescheib@gridiron.org; to gain access to the Gridiron Games Community.
7. Choose a role: Choose "Coach" if you plan on registering a team. You'll be able to add parent at a later time.
8. Once done, you can begin the tournament registration process within the app by going to the "Gridiron Games" Community > Then clicking on "Leagues" > "2024 Gridiron Games" > "Register Team" > "Create A New Team".
9. During the registration process, you will be able to add team coaches, managers, and rosters including team and player documentation. (Video Tutorial will be posted soon)
